Where is Onyx located?
Onyx is located in the BBC Building - Dubai Media City, Building 10 (DMC Building 10) - Office 203
Where can I park?
Please allow 30 minutes to find parking. Avoid S4 Exclusive Zone. It's better to arrive using Careem/Uber during peak hours.
How many people does it seat?
Onyx comfortably seats up to 2 people.
What gear do you use in Onyx?
Onyx is equipped with Sony FS5 MII cinema cameras, Shure SM7b mics, Aputure studio lights, 8x GODOX LEDs, 2x NEEWER LED panels, a RØDECaster Pro, and a Blackmagic ATEM MINI ISO AV Mixer.
What do I get after the session?
If you choose a service that does not include live mixing, you'll receive unedited video files from 3 cameras and audio files from the microphones.
Can you edit my episode?
Yes! You can add any of our editing services to your episode recording before checking out. If you want to learn more, please contact us on WhatsApp or email.
Can you remove the artwork in the background?
Yes - they can be changed with alternatives available in the studio. Please ask your operator to assist with this when you arrive for your recording session.
Can you customize the lights?
All 8 LEDs are full RGB spectrum and can be adapted to suit your branding or to any color of your preference.
How do I get my files afterwards?
If you're not availing our post-production services, please bring 3x SD Cards and 1 MicroSD Card for us to record your session on. Alternatively, we could also transfer it onto an SSD after the session if you bring one. We can upload online as well. However, due to the recording volume, completing the upload could take up to 8 days.
